STARTER

Summer salad (VE)

Set your tastebuds alight with this beautiful starter of fresh leaves and mangetout picked directly from our garden, with local strawberries and a sweet and tangy vinaigrette.

Served with mixed rice, grains and green veg

Coq au Vin Blanc

£12

 

Norfolk chicken thighs braised with bacon, mushrooms, and shallots in a light, tasty white wine sauce. 'Hidden' carrots and celery blended into the sauce make it super silky, give extra flavour, and are  a wonderful source of vitamins. A wonderfully balanced, satisfying, and healthy meal.


Champignon au Vin Blanc (VE)

£12

Portabello mushrooms braised with carrots and shallots in a light, tangy white wine sauce. 'Hidden' nutritional yeast  and celery blended into the sauce make it super silky, give extra flavour, and are a wonderful source of vitamins, protein and flavour!

Pistachio cheesecake

STARTER

French onion soup - £6

Rich and soothing, this soup is a classic for a reason. A perfect start, come rain or shine and a labour of love. 

Made with homemade beef broth with slowly caramelised onions and the traditional Gruyère crouton.


THE MAIN EVENT

It’s wild garlic season! We’ve made the most of this short window by making our own English pesto: Wild garlic, walnuts, and rapeseed oil. 

Served with buttery polenta and sauteed green veg. Simple cooking that makes the most of local ingredients.

Wild garlic pesto stuffed chicken breast - £12

Norfolk chicken breast stuffed with English pesto, wrapped in Parma ham and baked.

Vegan wild garlic pesto stuffed mushrooms - £12

Portobello mushrooms with wild garlic stuffing and topped with golden breadcrumbs.

Why not swap out polenta for bulgar wheat or ditch the carbs and double the veg for a lighter alternative?
